Avis feels her life has come full circle. As a child she loved designing and sewing for her mannequin doll. Today she lives in Denver, Colorado, with her husband of 55 years, and is designing and sewing again!She was a stay at home Mom for her four children; she dealt with PTA, Cub/Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc. As her children grew into young adults she became a career woman. She had always been the frustrated artist, and utilized this talent by becoming a portrait photographer. She even owned and operated her own photography company for over 20 years.
In her retirement she has returned to her love of dolls and design. She has fulfilled her dream of designing for leading fashion models by producing a clothing line, THE HOUSE OF "A", for the leading fashion dolls - Barbie and Fashion Royalty!
