Le Parisien gais et style de chasse ornent nos pages!

Gay Parisian and hunting style grace our pages!

Liz Cole

I'm Liz Cole of "RETROS" I live in Seattle, WA and have been sewing fashions for dolls for over 20 years. I started designing and doing repaints for Barbie, and have expanded to all the other size fashion dolls and BJDs. I currently have a webstore on Etsy.

JO AYRES

My name is Josephine (or Jo) Ayres, and I am a self-taught creative person who loves a challenge. I am based in Perth, Australia. Everything is handmade by me except the stockings using vintage and new materials. This year's IFDC doll I've done I'm calling "Runway Runaway." She comes with handmade shoes, a fake fur stole in "fox" that is fully lined. I used a houndstooth weave material for both her outfit and her hat; also silk, ribbons, and plenty of lace.

The gloves are made of the same lace as the collar so they match. The vest is lined and comes off to reveal a tube dress with inserted lace pleats. The hat is lined and features black and red tulle ribbon, and has matching red roses on it in the hunting style. Earrings are pearl and diamonte beads.

The doll received and hair cut and features French braiding at the back ; red ribbon constrasts the black curls. I also did a repaint and enhancement, and she will come with a certificate of authenticity. You can

La Maille En métal ajoute un contact spécial!

Metal Mesh adds a special touch!

Laurie Everton

I'm Laurie Everton from “The Barbie Canvas” and Ive been doing OOAK dolls now for about 10 years. Mod and celebrities are my favorites to do; mod because I had them as a girl, and will always love mods, and Celebrities because I'm a portrait artist. I've been able to draw portraits in pencil as far back as junior high. I've taken art all through high school and some in college; specifically in Graphic Design and Advertising - and even had a couple of my drawings published.

My dolls have made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres in the viewer art segment, and local Fox news several times now. I even recently had the opportunity to work with Lita Ford on a special OOAK for breast cancer. My goal is to keep challenging myself by constantly improving with each OOAK.

This Natalia has had a total reroot with KatSilk saran hair, and a total facial repaint with Golden acrylic and sealers. Her outfit is handmade from metal mesh with hand painted boots.

To see more of my OOAKS, or to contact me, visit my website. You will also find "The Barbie Canvas" on Facebook.
